Rules for KSACS Drama Competition:

Mode of drama will be physical

Students from colleges/institutes studying in 1st and 2nd year can participate.

The participating college/institute sound have an active RRC.

Students from higher classes may be involved as mentors.

Team Size: Each drama team must consist of a minimum of 5 members and a maximum of 10 members.

Script must be approved by College Nodal Officer for participation in School/college level competition.

Time Limit: The performance duration should be within 15 minutes, including setup and takedown.

Topics - Routes of HIV transmission ,Myths & Misconception related to HIV ,Promotion of Helpline 1097 ,Information on Stigma & Discrimination/ HIV Act

Language: Performances must be in malayalam/english ensuring clarity for the audience

Props and Sets: Teams are responsible for their props and sets. No hazardous or real weapons are allowed.

Costumes: Appropriate costumes must be used ( eg. Kurta, Bottom, Dupatta).

After completion of District/State/Region level competition Top 3 teams will do minimum 2 performances in nearby college/school, markets, bus stands, railway stations, tourist place, NSS/NCC camp, local fair & festivals, District/State events of SACS or as decided by SACS or District Health Authority

The prizes for District/State/Regional level will be given only after participation of the winning team at next level, if the winning team will not participate at next level then the second team will be declared as winner, that also after participation.

SACS will disburse the Prize money to the teams only after completion of outreach activities plan .

A declaration will be taken from each team regarding outreach performances prior to competition. Teams that are not willing to sign the declaration will be disqualified.

Judging: Performances will be judged on acting, direction, script, creativity, and overall presentation.

Registration: All teams must register in advance to participate in the competition.

Decision: The judge's decision is final and binding.

Respect: Respect fellow participants, organisers, and the audience during the event.

Safety: Ensure the safety of all members during rehearsals and the actual performance.
